How Revealing Will My Session Be?

Long story short, your boudoir session will be as revealing as you want it to be. Doing a boudoir session does not mean you have to “get naked” — but you can if you want to! Your boudoir session is for you. At the end of your shoot, we want you to leave with pictures you love!

A boudoir session can be intimidating We know!

These types of photos showcase a side of you that is more often than not quite private. You’re already taking steps outside your comfort zone to embrace your inherent beauty, power, and sensuality — and the idea of posing nude in front of someone you barely know can definitely be anxiety inducing. This is why it’s important to mesh with your photographer!
We are here to be your hype team, to encourage you and guide you through the process. 

Prior to your session we are going to chat with you, maybe set up a phone call or an in-person consultation, so we can go over everything then! We will discuss your vision for your session. If you have a specific vibe you’re going for, if there is something specific you want to wear or have featured, this chat is an excellent time to bring it up. If you want more of your skin covered up, we support you. We can help you style some button-downs, sports jerseys, or cozy sweaters so you still feel covered, sexy, and confident. If you want to go the lingerie route we can recommend places for you to look and can assist with coordinating accessories. If you want to be completely nude, draped only in a sheet, we 100% support that choice too!

Buuuuut, if you are leaning towards doing completely nude photos but you are going back and forth on it because it’s outside your comfort zone, we encourage you to take the leap. We’ve had clients come in who are interested in doing nude photos but are nervous and apprehensive about it. We totally understand; it's intimidating! We want to encourage you and foster a safe space for you to feel comfortable being your authentic self around us. Our whole mission is that boudoir empowers, we want you to feel empowered in the skin you’re in. So maybe we start your session with the most clothing on and then as we go along and your confidence grows you start shedding layers until you feel comfortable enough to bare it all.
If you are looking to take a leap and try something new, outside your comfort zone, we are going to cheer you on.

You are a rockstar and we are your biggest fans!  If you are considering putting yourself out there, whether you are just wanting to celebrate your body or you are looking to amp up your own confidence, we are a safe place for this. We will never push you into something you don’t want to do, but we will encourage and support you. If you want to go outside your comfort zone.
